ShoppersChoice.com originally opened as a brick and mortar store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1998 named The Grill Store & More. Owners Michael and Ladina Hackley started the business from scratch and worked it themselves for the first year 7 days a week. By 2001 we felt like we had tapped the Louisiana market so we looked to the Internet for added revenues by launching our our first website, www.thegrillstoreandmore.com, in 2001 with 7000 products. This was followed shortly thereafter with www.bbqguys.com with a full color catalog that corresponded to the site. As we added more websites catering to niche markets, such as www.electricgrilldepot.com and www.outdoorkitchensdepot.com, we decided to reduce our store locations so that we could focus more on our online presence. Because our product offering went far beyond grills, we decided to change our official name to ShoppersChoice.com in 2004.

Today, ShoppersChoice.com offers more than 2 million products and 29 niche websites, ShoppersChoice.com offers a full line of products for the home. We are currently working on several other programs that we hope will be helpful and exciting to our existing and future customers, including videos with our very own Chef Tony Matassa and product reviews by our very own staff. Combined with our exceptional customer service we are able to reach out more easily to more of our customers in a way that emphasizes our motto, "Real people. Real service".
