Lugging logs in from the cold all winter, tending to a fire and cleaning out the fireplace are all things of the past with this Flint Hill log set! These exceptionally realistic logs are molded from Ceramic Fiber. Wood grain and bark detailing is then hand painted by the artisans at Empire. The matching vent free Contour burner provides 28,000 BTUs of supplemental heating power to quickly and efficiently heat your space. Surprisingly compact, they fit into fireboxes as shallow as 12 inches. The Empire gas log Contour burner gives you a consistent flame that can be variably adjusted. The Contour burner is ignited by means of a push-button Piezo ignition switch. This vent free burner is easily converted to a vented burner simply by opening the fireplace damper. For safety, an ODS (Oxygen Depletion System) will shut down the burner if the oxygen levels become unsafe. All gas log sets from Empire Comfort Systems are designed and tested to ANSI standards. Assessment of logs and customer service.
I purchased this set of logs for my small fireplace. The primary purpose of the logs is for emergency use during ice storms. They are in a 12' x 20 living room, and after turning on high setting,it is toasty warms in minutes, then I put it on the low setting and it maintains the temperature nicely. Overall, we are very pleased with the set, quality, looks,etc. I was also delighted with the level of customer service from Shoppers Choice Personnel, especially David in replacing a broken log promtly, and explaining the operation of the logs. Highly recommend this log set!

Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Assemble, Easy To Use, good quality, value.

Cons: logs are fragile, handle with care.

I am very pleased with this log set. Delivery was sooner than expected. Installation was easy(30 minutes) and instructions very plain. Very pleased with flame pattern and heat output. Controls are easy to operate. Nice fit in my small fireplace. Overall, very nice set and would recommend it for anyone needing a smaller log set.

Very Nice and Very Easy to Install
I replaced an existing vented set of logs with this set, and I really like the look of the logs and contour flames. Took maybe 45 minutes to get old set out and new set in...very easy. Highly recommend this log set for the price.

Pros: Durable, Attractive Design, Easy To Assemble, Easy To Clean, Easy To Use
