G4 Burner: This gas log set comes with a G4 Burner. This base model G4 burner is characterized by a single pipe running from left to right within the burner pan. Their are holes in the bottom of the pipe spanning the entire length of it for the gas to come from, providing maximum flame coverage. The silica sand spread over the pipe (vermiculite for LP applications) and the glowing embers atop that add depth to the flame so rather than just one wide row of flames, you get a more realistic flame pattern. |

Match Light: The Match Light lighting method is the basic method featuring no pilot valve assembly at all. All you have to do is place your match or lighter in the fireplace near the log burner and turn on the gas with your key valve already installed near your fireplace. Control the flame height by adjusting your key valve. |

Grrrreat Set!
I bought this set about a week ago. It arrived in only 2 days with standard shipping. This is a great set. Great price and looks really nice. I just love my new fireplace now. Oh, and the installation videos made installing this really easy.

Very Pleased with this Set
Installed fairly easily, although my husband had to figure out how to change the orientation. We wanted to integrate some andirons that had been in the family for a while into the set, and while it took some creative thinking, it worked out great. We just need some more of the glowing embers to cover extra sand we used around the andirons and it will look great. Very pleased with this product, for the price!

Nice set at a good price.
Not my first set of gas logs. I like having vented match light sets over non-vented or pilot sets. Just turn the gas key on, and light with a long lighter - easy. Crank off the gas and hide the key from the kiddos. We don't really have cold winters here (maybe teens in the lowest), so this is a great "ambiance" set for the price. I put them in myself in about 30 min.
